Group Riding

We aren't questioning your riding ability, everyone's skill on a motorcycle is different. Group riding is about a group of people sharing a passion of riding and socializing. Our methodologies and procedures are just to make sure everyone is on the same page when doing things on a group ride. You may have been on group rides with other groups, we we just to make sure that everyone is on the same page with how we do things on a group ride.

We are all about safety when it comes to group riding. We have a number of policies and procedures put in place to obtain safe and very enjoyable group rides. Group riding with the CMC and the Woodstock Chapter is a privlage not a right.

If you are a new member please go through the assorted information here.

If you have been referred to this page by one of our members because you would like to come out on a ride please review everything.

Our Group Riding Handout is a must read for all new members and for anyone who is coming on one of our rides.

The MSF video (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) is a 10 minute video on Group Riding that is well worth the time to watch. See below:

For some newer riders here is a link of animated guidelines for you to view and help make your group riding experience more enjoyable and safer for all. (Not a CMC site but very informative)
